Constant connection drop from 2Wire/ Pace device. Seems like its crashing?

I have simple home network setup and have consulted with Tier 3 tech when doing so, and I have an issue where my MTS 2 Wire/Pace 3801 will intermittently crash. It will do so when I am watching netflix, TV, browsing the internet etc. Sometimes it will do it while I am not using anything and I hear my network alarm go off.

This is very frustrating and I am not sure what is going on but it keeps happening. 

I have Lightning 25 and I really need this problem solved as it goes on all the time and it tough to get anything done.

Hi Kelsey,

Jason is absolutely correct, this is definitely not proper operation of the equipment.  A simple task you can try to temporarily resolve the issue would be to power cycle your main RG, the 2Wire or Pace box.  This can be done by unplugging the power for 10 to 15 seconds and plugging it back in.  Again this will likely only be a temporary fix and you should certainly speak to our technical support group to have the root cause of the problem investigated.
