Cell service in Vivian, MB ???

We live in Vivian, MB. For some reason there is cell service in all directions around our town but nothing inside.  We are located in a prime area with a town of 25 signatures and off highway 15 only 30 mins from the city of Winnipeg.  We have talked with MTS about this issue for well over the last 5 years and not got any answers.  I currently have MTS home service and 5 Cell phones through MTS.  We get charged $160.00/monthly for internet from Xplornet and $119.00/month for sat TV from Shaw.  We would love to have all with our local company “MTS” but it is still unavailable in our town.  At least cell service would be great to create a hotspot. Please advise, (as you will see on your coverage map the small dot where we live with no service) to when this may happen.

Hi Randy, the coverage would be coming from the Anola tower to the west of Vivian, there looks to be a significant elevation change from the tower to the town. At 15 km away, an elevation change makes a large difference as now people are in shadows of other buildings and trees.

The antenna pointed east toward Vivan is flat out and max power so there isn't really an opportunity of optimization. We do have a community funded model if the town would like to investigate that option. There is not fibre in that area so transport would have to be built as well.
