The cell tower on the # 60 highway at the Easterville junction sends out a CDMA signal out to where my winter fish camp is. I have a booster to pick up the signal and this works quite well. I need my cell to keep in touch with customers during the winter commercial fishing season on Lake Winnipegosis. However when MTS ends the CDMA network, will that mean I no longer will have cell service or will that tower send another type of signal with enough strength that I can update my booster and get a good signal at my winter location? Currently a fellow fisherman has a 4g phone and it's totally useless to him in this area.
