Blocked email still coming through

I've added their email address to my contacts and blocked them but every day I still get their annoying emails. I've notified hotmail as their email address is a hotmail account but I still get their emails!!!! Help please!!!

Hi Deanna,
I know this can be extremely frustrating but there are a couple things to checkout.  First, how did you block this address?  Did you add it to the Blocked List under Preferences > Mail?  Secondly the address that you see in the "From" field isn't always the address the mail is actually coming from.  Similar to those spoofed phone calls you may have heard about, email can be done in the same way.  Fortunately with email the true sender can be found by checking the email headers.  When you have the email in question open, select Action in the top bar then click show original.  This will display the email header and in there you can find the true sending address.  Now granted these headers can look like giberish to some folks so if you are having a hard time deciphering them our tech support crew can always give you a hand.

Thanks Jeremy, they did in fact have a hidden email address so I added that to my block list under preferences but they are still coming through? Can MTS block them at their end?

Yup, you nailed it Clifford.  They are the law on spam in Canada.  If anyone can help stop it, it's them.

I have allso blocked allot of emails and they are still coming in. I dont think mts block email is working. I have the exact same problem as you Deanna. i have done every thing you have done too. It was working before mts made the switch back.
They do get automatically moved into my junk folder now when I open my email up on the laptop, but unfortunately when I use my I-phone (which is more often) they stay in my inbox...
