I see MTS has raised the base plan from the 20 to the 25 even for people that happen to be on new 2-year contract before:( I thought they were not going to do this.

Hey!

You're right, we did make the change on the starter plan pricing. It was discussed it was for all brand new customers to MTS going forward, as well as any hardware upgrades done after the change was implemented in April of 2016.

Unfortunately, there is no way to keep the previously priced starter plan unless you purchase your devices out right and continue to go month to month. Should you sign a new contract whether you're new to MTS or have been with us for a while; you are required to take the starter plan that's $25.00 in price.

Hope this helps clear things up.

Cheers
- Gillian

Morning but as I stated I signed a contract in April 2015 and I haven't done any hardware upgrades since then and I'm still paying the $25 base plan now but what you're saying I should only be paying the 20. Thanks.

Probably the best way to see if the charge is correct is to send your account info to the MTS community email account   ATTN: Gillian as as she is the Wireless Service Expert and she can see what if anything changed and either confirm the charge is correct or put through a credit if you are being charged incorrectly
