Is it just me but does anyone else find the 2 leds in the Arris VIP2102 that are continuously blinking very annoying when in a dark room (when you are trying to go to sleep) ?
Is there any way to turn these things off?

Sorry about the delay - I haven't been able to find any way of shutting down the LED's, but will keep investigating.

You are not alone in finding these types of lights annoying in a dark room, I can attest that the various lights from electronics can disrupt a peaceful sleep.

Our unofficial solutions at home include:

Throwing the cordless phone under the bed when it starts to blink for no known reason - I think we have at least 2 under there now.

Covering the charging cell phone with a pillow.

Placing a VHS tape (yes I still have them) over the blue and red light on our Set Top Box (heaven forbid you have a show recording overnight and that red light comes on and blasts you like a laser in your sleep).

In other bedrooms we have books and a mouse pad covering various STB's and game consoles.

As I type this I think a roll of black electrical tape is in order...
