Bell Canada is bullish on its customers whereas Telus unlike Bell, offers its customers the Apple Watch 3 Cellular as a 2-year plan so they don't have to pluck down $559 plus GST and PST.

Bell, on the other hand, forces their customers to buy the Apple Watch 3 Cellular outright from an Apple Store, Best Buy, The Source or Sportchek.

Every mobile company offers different packages and options. Some people might prefer the way Telus does things on contract well other customers will like the way Bell packages it’s services. There is no one fits all package. As consumers we have to find the service that’s right for our needs. Personally I would rather buy it outright and not worry about another cell contract. Or if I can’t afford it I wouldn’t buy it. Thanks.

Regardless of whether you buy your Apple Watch 3 Cellular outright elsewhere (let's say from Best Buy), you will still have to sign up for the $5 per month Volte (sp.) cellular service (an e-SIM card) in order for your watch to work.  At Telus, they simply divide the $599 (plus GST & PST) cost of the Apple Watch 3 Cellular over a 2-year term contract which appeals to many customers who can't buy the watch outright.

Then you don’t buy the watch then. It’s a luxury item.
