Anybody else having problems with their alarm system dialing out after the MTS outage?

Ever since the MTS Dec 22nd network problem AAA alarms and my alarm box are having "problems". 

They do communicate and AAA's test desk says the central station does see and process what my system is sending including alarms, but the AAA box in the house holds my phone line for at least 5 minutes after talking to AAA's system and then releases the line and goes into trouble mode saying communications error.

AAA is booked for service until the middle of first week of Jan 2015 so I was wondering if anybody knows if MTS did something to the line configurations when they restored service and I need to call and get changed before AAA service shows up.   AAA suggested I may need to buy a new system.

Hi Clifford,

Based on what we know about the issue yesterday and after talking to AAA dispatch there aren't any other similar problems going on so I don't think it is directly related now that the network problem is resolved.  There is a chance it is an individual problem with your service.  If you want to email your phone numbers and address to I can have the group do some tests on your line but it does sound like that isn't the issue based on what you described.
