Additional Sim Card for Tablet

Couldn't see an answer to this on the site, or on here..

When I was with Telus (and prior to that Rogers) I was able to get a 2nd sim attached to my account for a tablet (for data) and both could count towards my plans data.

Does MTS allow / offer that or am I SOL?

If I read this link right https://www.mts.ca/residential/wireless/plans/data-plans-for-ipad-and-tablets it looks like you can do it for $10 a month (doing BYOD) as long as your not on MTS my Plan or a business plan.

Hi there,

Looks like Clifford has beaten me to the punch! It is true that you are able to head down to a an MTS Connect store and pick up a new SIM card and add it on to share the data of your already existing plan. 

However you are not able to be on our MyPlan or Business plan platform, should you be on one of those options it will require a plan change for your existing phone so that the data can be shared between the two devices.

Tablets can also be added as a device to the Total Internet offering. The extra cost is $25/month.
