MTS customers can bundle and save!
As an MTS Bundle customer*, you can take advantage of an additional savings of $2 a month if you have a monitored alarm system with AAA Security and two or three MTS Services - MTS TV, High Speed Internet or postpaid cellular service.
*Offer available to Manitoba customers only. To be eligible for an MTS Bundle, you must be an MTS residential customer not on promotional pricing, with at least 2 of the following services - MTS TV, High Speed Internet or postpaid wireless service.
Now I have two accounts with MTS; One that has my TV (which is on a promo) and my High Speed 25 (not on a promo), and a second account that has my cell phone (not on a promo). Because I have cell phone and Internet not on a promo, I get the $30.00 monthly discount for bundling my internet and cell phone together (this appears on my TV and internet bill). I contacted MTS in May to get my $2 additional discount with AAA Alarms (I am not a promo with them either), and they said they would contact AAA and apply the discount.
In June I noticed there was no discount so I contacted AAA Alarms and they said the discount is done on the MTS end so they said to contact MTS and give them my AAA billing number. They gave me a direct phone number for the MTS bundling department and I called it. The person at MTS said because I do not have phone service with MTS (delink line) to give AAA my "false" phone number so they could manually update their billing side and so the accounts would connect.
I contacted AAA Alarms again, and they manually added my delink phone number (I have cell connectivity with AAA) to my account and I WAS ASSURED because they manually sent the list to MTS (the person at AAA was talking to a person at MTS on the phone) that my $2 discount would be applied for July's bill.
I get my July Bill....and low and behold...no discount.
What should I do next? Now I am missing $6-8 worth of discount over the past few months combined....I call MTS they blame AAA, I call AAA they blame MTS..... What is my next move? I understand its only $2, but I have wasted well over 2 hours combined on phone and email just to get this $2 discount. I'm getting frustrated.
Its not my fault I have a delink number and cell connectivity and because of this the billing systems can't talk because its two different numbers.
Both sides agree I SHOULD be getting the discount.....Any suggestions as to what I should next?
Thank you in advance
