5168N Bridge Mode

Bridge mode is an existing feature in the Pace 5168N firmware (other carriers allow their VDSL2 customers to bridge their gateways). I've gone so far as to see the option to toggle this when an installer was at my house troubleshooting my line one time, but he didn't have any information on the feature. When will MTS support allow customers to do the same?

This really seems to be a sour point for a lot of customers coming from other providers where bridging is allowed. Get with the times MTS.

Hey Chris, 
The feature may be available on the device, but depending on what services you have running through it this feature could cause a lot of problems, TV service for example.  If you are running only internet through it you are welcome to enable to feature but we wouldn't support it.  We recommend using DMZ plus mode if you wanted to through put your WAN IP.
