First question: I recently moved and tried to set up my router and it shows on my cell phone and laptop that I am connected to the internet but when I tested it out it didn't work. Is there a way that I can fix this myself?
Second question: Am I able to add a 'co-owner' to my plan so that he is able to ask specific questions about the plan?

I can't answer your first question but I can answer the second one. You can call our Customer Care team and add an authorized contact on your account and unless it has changed since I was in customer care you can be specific about what you are authorizing them for.

First question - you can't just move MTS equipment without telling them as their is stuff outside the house that needs to be in place, is requires a service visit.

On the second part you might be better off handing the phone to the co-owner rather than authorizing them on the account.

Hi Hayley,

Thank you for your questions, Both Laurene, and CoryB have provided great information. I just wanted to reach out to confirm that you will need to call in at 204-225-5687 to add additional contacts to your account. You can specify the information or level of access they have to making changes and to what specific services if you don't want them to have full access to your account.

As well, we would need to set up a Transfer of Service order for us to come out to your new place to set up the Internet service for you. At this time, we don't offer self installs. If you need assistance with this order please feel free to email me at community@mts.ca and I can assist you in setting up this order.

Hope you find this information helpful!
